Handling of Personal Information
Obtained through Recruitment Activities

J.E.T. Co., LTD. (hereinafter, the “Company”) recognizes the importance of personal information. We promote the protection of personal information by complying with laws and regulations, national guidelines, and other norms concerning the protection of personal information when handling such information.

1. Handling of Personal Information

The Company has assigned employees to ensure applicants’ personal information is handled safely and appropriately.

Unless there are special circumstances, the Company will not disclose, lend, or transfer an applicant’s personal information to a third party without the consent of the applicant themselves. However, this does not apply to cases such as when a request is made by a public institution, etc., or when outsourcing to a third party for the purpose of protecting the rights and property of the Company and achieving the purpose of use for the personal information acquired by the Company as set forth in “2. Acquisition of Personal Information and Purpose of Use.”

When obtaining the personal information of an applicant, the Company does so in a fair and appropriate manner, in accordance with the “Act on the Protection of Personal Information” and related laws and regulations, as well as generally accepted practices concerning the handling of personal information.

The Company uses the acquired personal information only to the extent necessary to achieve the following purposes.

The Company will not use the personal information obtained through recruitment activities for any purpose other than those described above without the consent of the applicant themselves.

Please note that, in order to achieve the above purpose of use, the Company may provide said personal information to a third party entrusted under the responsibility of the Company.

3. Safety Management for Personal Information

In order to protect the personal information of applicants, the Company has established internal rules, including personal information protection regulations, which are applied as appropriate.

To ensure the personal information is thoroughly protected, the Company appoints employees responsible for personal information.

The Company endeavors to educate and enlighten its officers and employees, raise awareness regarding personal information protection, and appropriately supervise officers and employees to ensure the safe management of personal information.

When the Company entrusts the handling of applicants’ personal information to a third party and provides such information, the Company appropriately supervises the third party being entrusted to ensure the safe management of the personal information.

4. Correction, Etc., of Personal Information

If an applicant requests disclosure, correction, deletion, etc., of their personal information, the Company will promptly respond after verifying the identity of the individual making the request. Please note that we will not be able to answer with regard to any information related to the selection process. Furthermore, please note that, as a general rule, we do not return documents such as resumes and job histories provided to us during the recruitment process, and that they are disposed of by the Company.

5. Deletion, Disposal, Etc., of Personal Information

The Company will promptly delete or dispose of personal information obtained from applicants once the purpose of use described in “2. Acquisition of Personal Information and Purpose of Use” has been achieved.

In cases where the Company provides personal information obtained from applicants to a third party entrusted by the Company and the Company’s purpose of use has been achieved, the Company will instruct the third party to delete or dispose of the information promptly and responsibly.

6. Revision

The Company may revise all or part of this handling of personal information with regard to recruitment activities.

If significant changes are made, the Company will notify the public in an easy-to-understand manner on our website.
