Handling of personal information
of employees, their families, and retirees

J.E.T. Co., LTD. (hereinafter, the “Company”) recognizes the importance of personal information. We promote the protection of personal information by complying with laws and regulations, national guidelines, and other norms concerning the protection of personal information when handling such information.

1. Compliance with Laws and Regulations

When collecting, using, or providing the personal information of employees, the Company handles said information appropriately in accordance with the “Act on the Protection of Personal Information” and related laws and regulations, generally accepted practices concerning the handling of personal information, and separately established personal information protection regulations.

2. Purpose of Use of Personal Information

The Company uses employee information (including sensitive information such as salaries, bonuses, and medical examinations) for the following purposes in accordance with laws and regulations concerning human resources, labor, evaluation, wages, insurance, health management, health and safety, etc., and the regulations of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare, etc.

3. Entrustment of Personal Information

The Company may entrust work to physicians, accountants, the corporations organizing them, and other corporations, etc., and may provide the personal information of employees in doing so. When personal information is to be provided, subcontractors are selected on the condition that they can ensure a sufficient level of personal information protection, enter into a confidentiality agreement.

4. Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties

The Company only provides employees’ personal information to third parties in the following cases.

  2. (2) When it is necessary for the protection of human life, body, or property, and it is difficult to obtain the consent of the individual

5. In the Case of Insufficient Information

You may refuse to provide a particular piece of personal information based on the content, but this may delay or impair the ability to carry out the required processing, or may affect your personnel evaluation.

If you have any requests regarding disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, etc., please contact us using the contact information found at the bottom of this page. The details will be confirmed and appropriate action will be taken. However, we cannot respond to requests from employees for deletion or suspension of use for operations within the scope required by laws, regulations, etc.

7. Safety Management

The Company endeavors to manage personal information securely, and will take necessary measures to prevent unauthorized access to and loss, destruction, alteration, or leakage of personal information. We also continuously review and improve the handling of personal information.
